We are looking for volunteers for pride 2012!

We are looking for several types of volunteers.   During the planning process each committee needs people to help out with the committee work.   In addition, we will need helpers during the event to setup and clean up and other areas.   We will also need people to help coordinate and train the event volunteers.

The main requirements for being a volunteer is to have an email address that we can contact you at and to be willing to attend the necessary meetings.    The committees typically meet every week, but their volunteer needs vary and may not require attendance at that frequency.

If you are interested in volunteering for the event, we ask that you also attend volunteer preparation meetings beforehand.

During the planning process, we have the following committees regularly meeting for organizing the event. Please indicate if you would be interested in helping out in each committee and how.

During the events, we will need volunteers to help out with various functions, such as setup & cleanup. We will also need people to help organize/train those volunteers ahead of time – this requires an earlier commitment and attendance at the earlier meetings.
